2Learn is a young dynamic company founded by 13 associates with different professional backgrounds. The activity of the company is focused on high quality continuing education in the medical, para-medical and agricultural sectors. A multidisciplinary and multicultural team of five people runs the company on a daily basis with the permanent aim to provide high quality services to its customers. The complementarities between the different managers not only provides the company’s projects with fresh and innovative scientific and instructional input, but also provides a firm foundation that can answer the ever evolving needs of continuing education and the realities of today’s market. The multinational origin of the founders is a source of diversity and creativity for a company with international projects. In 2009 2Learn took over the activities of the company Animalia Curandi Ars after the early cessation of this company. Animalia Curandi Ars was specialized in continuing education programs for professionals of the animal health sector. These activities will from now on be continued by the new veterinary branch of 2Learn under the brand name NEO ANIMALIA. In order to maintain continuity and not to lose the knowledge gathered by Animalia Curandi Ars, part of the original team was kept in the new structure. NEO ANIMALIA offers a large array of courses on the medicine of the horse, ruminant and small animal including exotic pets and birds. The courses have precise and clear pedagogical objectives and distinguish themselves by their quality, duration and number of participants. The courses are provided in English, French, Dutch or Italian. Depending on the subject the courses combine theoretical sessions and practical exercises, with the aim to provide participants with new skills and knowledge. NEO ANIMALIA also provides solutions for cpd courses on demand for different associations, private practices or companies. These “made on demand” courses offer the advantage of flexibility in the choice of subjects and in the cost management of the course. In order to maintain the standard of teaching engagements, NEO ANIMALIA chooses experienced speakers and course directors that are recognized not only for their knowledge but also for their clinical and educational experience. Speakers must fulfill strict selection criteria and most are diplomats of specialist colleges or are otherwise outstanding in their academical careers. Finally, NEO ANIMALIA manages the conception and organization of cpd courses by an ISO 9001:2000 certified management system. At this moment NEO ANIMALIA is the only organization active in the field of education that has been recognized in Belgium by both regions (Walloon and Flemish government) as an official cpd provider.
